New to the site.

My name is JoAnn.  I am from PA.  I have been on the PA board and the main  board.  My surgery is November 3rd.  THis is my first time here.

I am 55 with a birthday coming up Christmas day.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

This board is the best there is. I am fairly new too. The wonderful people on this site have helped me so much. You can ask them anything. I am waiting for mysupervised diet to be done---two more months and then wait for a date---hopefully inJan or Feb.

I am Carla and I had surgery 6 and 1.2 years ago. I lost 150 pounds and became a cosmetologist.
I live in Florida cause I decided I wast going to live in the cold the 2nd half of my life.

Welcome to OFF.  I hope to see you posting often so we can get to know you.  You will find folks here to be very welcoming and helpful. I know I certainly do.

If you have been on the main board, you may not like it here.  There is no drama.  LOL.

I am one of the few guys that post here.  I must say, these gals are pretty nice to me.

Since you want to get to know us, I will introduce myself.  My name is George.  I am 57 years old.  Been married 34 years.  My wife had RNY (open) on 6/6/06, I had RNY (laproscopic) on 12/13/07.  She has lost 105 lbs, I have lost 155 lbs.  I work overnight, so most of my posting is done between 6PM and 6AM.

Hope you hang around, it's a good place to be.
